Keesha is a 21 year old girl from Seattle Washington. She was popular in school (not in a bitchy way) She was just loved and known! She had a certain star power about her. Everyone who went to school with her always thought "If anyone makes it from our school, then Keesha would be that girl!" Everyone just knew that Keesha would be a success, because she has a very extroverted and vibrant personality! Even in college... Keesha is a very active student on campus! Very well know and adored... She is really great at poetry! That is her thing! She wants to be a famous poet, she runs the poetry club on her college campus, and she is always doing spoken word at clubs on Friday nights...
You may be thinking... This girl has no flaws! Everyone loves her and thinks she will make it in life, and she has talent! That's just not the case! She is called the "shooting star" for a reason. She isn't a rising star! She is a shooting star! That is because, Keesha's confidence and charm is a facade! She puts on a happy face to get away from her demons at home, and poetry is her way to vent and escape! The truth is! She lives in a trailer park with two alcoholic parents who don't support her, or pay her attention, and her father is very abusive! No one knows this, but Keesha spends most of her time crying, and being depressed, when she isn't writing her poems... People don't know she lives in a trailer park,or has alcoholic's as parents, with a wife beater dad, because she does a good job of separating who she truly is and who she is striving to be... Keehsa really want to be this famous poet! She wants to prove her peers right and be this shining star, but her reality makes her second guess herself, and is making her crash and burn inside...How will the Real World affect her life?
