Naveen is a 23 year old Middle Eastern beauty queen from Flagstaff Arizona. She is from a strict Muslim culture and she hates it. Her parents aren't very supportive of her being a beauty pageant queen because it is against her religion. She is supposed to cover up and not show her body. She loves pissing her parents off and being rebellious and she hates the pressures that her religion puts on her. Her family actually had to move out of a conservative neighborhood, because the hate crimes were unbearable. Naveen not only has to deal with Muslim hate, but she also has to secretly deal with homophobia. Naveen is not only in beauty pageants to be rebellious, but also to be surrounded by beautiful women 24/7... She secretly loves women and is a closeted lesbian. You may be thinking that it's easier being an open lesbian in today's society, however it isn't easy if you are Muslim. Naveen wants to come out, but she hopes to find the right time. If Naveen likes a girl, she can be pretty sprung and end up doing everything she can to please a girl. Naveen is excited that Real World is in her home state. She hopes to show her roomates around and also enter some beauty pageants.
