Karen is a 22 year old emotional mess from Las Vegas Nevada. Growing up as a child Karen was overweight, and therefore had alot of insecurities and issues with her self confidence. Throughout her childhood she was ridiculed for her weight, and was never really the most popular girl. In High School, she wanted a change. She lost a hundred pounds, and began slimming down however her body type was still kind of plump and she was thinning out but not entirely. Being completely sheltered and not really experiencing any male attention, she began getting so upset and decided that if she couldn't be sexy and get a males attention, she was going to force her way in to that life.
She then began dabbling in pornography.
Starting at 19, she did porn for 3 years straight, making over 100,000 a year and seemed well off, however it began to attract the attention of her peers and family as to how she was making such an income, and Karen was EXTREMELY ashamed at the fact she had done porn.
Karen's real dream was to be in the music industry..she always wanted to be a DJ, but was willing to settle for a radio personality because she felt she is ugly and didnt need to be seen by people. She met a man named Chicago Larry through doing adult films, and he hooked her a daily radio job in Vegas.
One day, she had shot a porn dvd in three parts, and realized her film was being produced by a "big girls" porn site. She then realized that she was being known as the chubby porn girl, and had an emotional breakdown. She attempted to kill herself, by overdosing. Her friend however found her in her home, and was able to take her to the hospital and had her stomache pumped in time.
Because she quit doing adult films, Chicago Larry dropped her from doing the vegas radio station, so right now she is unemployed.
She hopes that coming on the Real World she will make REAL friends. She hopes to find herself, and find people who accept her. She wants to realize that her life isn't as terrible as she thinks and hopes this experience will be life changing and give her the self confidence she needs. She also wouldnt mind finding a job with radio on the real world.
